He had just witnessed the scene where the Queen Mother was crushed to death, chilling to the bone.
The mirror of evil exposed all of the Jade Emperor’s lifetime of karmic obstacles and then projected them in the void. People from the Earth Immortal Realm needed only to look up to see it, effectively announcing the Jade Emperor’s sins to the entire world.
"I did not do it intentionally!" the Jade Emperor shouted over and over, coughing up blood.
Wukong said, "This is excellent. Expose this self-righteous scoundrel’s crimes for all to see, to be scorned by all under heaven."
The Victorious Fighting Buddha said, "He possesses the Thirty-Three Heavens Divine Artifact, making him difficult to kill. My actions are intended to gather the resentment and anger of the people of the world to break through his Thirty-Three Heavens Divine Artifact. The collective will of the citizens from the Ten Directions Country of the Ultimate Bliss World alone is not enough to break it."
Only then did everyone understand the intention of the Victorious Fighting Buddha. His goal was to publicize the Jade Emperor’s sins through the mirror of evil, inciting the resentment and anger of the people, and to amass this strong collective will to break through the Jade Emperor’s Thirty-Three Heavens Divine Artifact, thereby completely defeating the Jade Emperor. The Thirty-Three Heavens Divine Artifact was too powerful, containing the will of the Heavenly Dao and not so easily broken—only the collective will of the people could do that.
