Divorced and Chased by My Alpha Billionaire Ex-Husband

Chapter 66: Aurora’s Heat

Aurora’s glass lay empty, the sparkling water drained in mere minutes.

The evening’s din surrounded her – laughter, clinking glasses, and muted conversations – yet she felt somewhat disconnected, as if floating above the scene.

Something nagged at her, an unsettling sense of unease.

Then, without warning, a wave of heat swept through her body. Her skin prickled, her breath caught in short gasps.

The dizziness hit her hard, and she instinctively reached for a railing to steady herself.

She needed to leave—right now.

Something wasn’t right.

Her mind felt clouded, unable to process clearly, but her instincts screamed to get out of the rooftop and away from whatever was happening.

With shaky legs, she made her way toward the exit, her fingers fumbling uselessly over the elevator buttons.

Unable to wait for the lift, she took the stairs, gripping the railing as she descended slowly, each step feeling heavier than the last.

Her thoughts swirled—What’s happening to me?—as her vision blurred, and all she could focus on was the overwhelming heat consuming her.
