Chapter 317 - 316. What The Future Holds For Us (2)
The next couple of days passed by on a blur. Dad left Ryujin mansion after spending some more time with Kai and me, meanwhile I became busy to prepare for the Founding Day ball that was announced to be held this year.
I had received a formal invitation from the King’s side to be present at this ball and as a respectful citizen I had replied as I would be there.
The ball was going to be held in half a month and before that I was busy with catching up with the nobles who were working under me. The paperwork that was mounting and the kids.
Silas hadn’t contacted me in these past couple of days and I was starting to feel slightly worried. He was pissed off the last time when I had told him and Grandfather about what happened in Denril. I hadn’t gotten a chance to talk after that since he never responded to the communication device nor did he reach out to me. I was contemplating on dropping by at the Mage’s Tower to see how he was doing.
Kai was slowly starting to open up to the kids as I would take him to Eldarf every weekend. The kids were gentle with him and often asked him questions and told him about stuff that they did at Eldarf.
The Dark Elves though had decided to make their own small space because of their opposing nature with the Elves. They had taken up the darker part of the forest deeper inside the woods where they had a small manor made for them. I dropped by to check on them after my return and was glad to see Anore and others settling in well.
Currently, I was at Eldarf watching the kids teach Kai on how to cut vegetables to make a soup.
I sat in the chair with Kent who was biting his nails and the adult Dwarves who seemed as worried as Kent. I sipped my tea leisurely watching the kids.
"Master?" Kent spoke up.
"Hm?"
"Is it all right for the kids to teach Young Master about this? He’s still too younger than them what if he cuts his fingers or something?"
