"I brought some porridge for you, Prince," said Lin Ziyin, who was nestled against his chest and could hear a strong heartbeat from Chu Suifeng. She remembered the meal box in the hands of Hong Ying and quickly loosened her grip from Chu Suifeng’s arms to retrieve it.
Chu Suifeng was not hungry; he preferred to talk to Lin Ziyin. However, she had brought the porridge, a gesture of her kindness, so he smiled and sat down when he saw her busy retrieving the meal box from Hong Ying.
