Alpha Damien's Breeder: The first night

Aurora sat by the garden, her focus lost as she pondered on something. She spent five years in this pack planning her revenge only for things to suddenly turn, and now she doesn’t even know what she is doing anymore. The man she detests the most is here with his supposed mate, could it be a coincidence? The fact that Lucas is her former mate, and Damien is now her new mate gives her a headache. How was she going to tell Damien everything? Would he be fine with knowing about her ugly past or would he despise her?

Sighing, she ran her hands through her head in a frustrated manner and screamed. No, this was not how she planned everything, what was happening to her?

"Aurora!" Suddenly, a familiar voice called for her which made her feel disgusted. Why was he here again? It was funny how she would feel excited whenever he called her before the incident. Now, his voice only irritated her and she wished he could disappear.

Acting as if she didn’t hear him, she took to her feet and faced the other way to walk out of the garden. It was better to avoid him rather than let him trigger a bad past.

"Aurora, did you tell Damien about us?" The next question made her halt, her hands clenched into fists. It was the audacity for her, US?

"Alpha Lucas, you are not a stupid man, it would be advisable for you not to act rashly. There is no us, I have no idea what you mean," turning towards him, she corrected him, and stared at him deathly. She badly wished to poison him, seeing him only irks her more. To think he was still shameless after all these years, people rarely change, don’t they?

"I know you are angry, but you can’t deny what happened between us. Disguising as Damien’s mate is not the best solution, he doesn’t love you." He started, moving closer to her, in an attempt to reason with her.

"Love? Do you dare talk about love? Are you saying you love me?" Sarcastically, she asked, her smile mischievous as she awaited his response. The man who couldn’t even identify his real mate was talking about love. The man who easily abandoned his mate is talking about love. The man who slept with another woman, while he had a mate, is talking about love.
