Chapter 171: Velvet Dress
"Ohh right in time. Well, your perfectly hired maids ruined their Luna’s dress," Scarlet quickly sat up and relayed, directing her gaze towards the sad maids standing in one corner of the room.
"Forgive us, Theresa," they all quickly went on their knees and started pleading, their position so pitiful, that Aurora felt bad for them. She knew it was not intentional judging by their looks, but again, the dress was torn beyond normal, it seemed like the handwork of someone. To think they had gotten rid of all rebels in the mansion, what were they plotting again now?
"Forgiveness? Do you think you would be able to make it out alive today if your Alpha finds out? No, he would skin you all alive," she said, yelling at them angrily. The audacity they had to seek for forgiveness after messing up, annoyed her.
They had just one job, which was to make sure Aurora’s wears were intact, how hard could that be? She specifically put these five in charge of Aurora’s wear, because of Damien’s request to have Aurora perfectly dressed. Even if she wanted to spare them for their recklessness, her son would never let them go unpunished, unless they fixed their mistake immediately.
"Theresa, I am sure they didn’t mean it, what about Liliana? She can help fix something," sparing the maids from her glare, Aurora butted in, bringing up a solution.
"You think I haven’t thought of that? Liliana is not in the pack currently, she went out for a show. Moreover, she wouldn’t be able to produce a cloth within an hour?" Annoyed, Scarlet interjected.
Liliana could be a skilled fashion designer, but making another dress in an hour was overestimating her. They had no other choice but to go for the dresses in Aurora’s wardrobe, which didn’t match the theme of the event, but it was better than nothing.
"No, there must be a solution. Shouting at them won’t bring back the dress." Aurora argued, not wanting to give up yet. No matter how big a problem was, there was always a solution.
"Fine, so what do you suggest we do?" Calming down, Scarlet took a deep breath and asked.
