Chapter 169: Silencing her with a kiss
Aurora knew it was bound for him to find out, and that was why she was eager to leave the pack before matters worsened. When he had told her about Lucas weeks back, she knew they had a normal relationship and didn’t want to ruin it. How was she going to avoid a problem at this point?
"I had no reason to tell you," she answered, silently apologizing to him. In as much as they were not yet officially a thing, he had the right to know as her mate.
"You had no reason? You signed a contract, and would have carried my child, don’t I have the right to know about my baby mama’s past?" He demanded, his voice getting harsh, an indication that he had been bottling up the anger.
"It was never stated in the contract," she defended. Yes, the contract only stated she had to give reports on her movements, not her past. And why would she feel the urge to tell a jerk like him about her past?
He always hurt her feelings, he never considered her emotions. There was nothing that could convince her to share her past with him, the memory that haunted her the most.
If he was this angry about her past, how would he react if he found out she wasn’t a she-wolf?
"But I deserve to know as your Alpha," towering over her, he growled silently, his eyes glowing goldenly. Aurora could feel the power and aura, he was a domineering Alpha and she wouldn’t disrespect him, but never again would she allow a man to take advantage of her.
"So what? Being an Alpha gives you the right to ruin other people’s lives. Being an Alpha gives you the right to make them cry? Being an Alpha gives you the right to...." She was silenced by a sudden kiss from him, her heart skipping a beat when he captured her lips passionately.
Damien could no longer hold it in anymore, so he leaned down and latched his lips on top of hers, greedily sucking on them as he delved deep into her mouth. Ohh, she tasted divine even when she angered him.
