Chapter 165: Archery
Both angry and shocked, she glared at him and moved away from him, muttering inaudible words under her breath. Damien already knew they were cusses so he didn’t bother asking her, he loved it when she cussed at him.
He remembered when they first began, it was always like this even though she feared him. She never held back whenever she felt the need to confront him.
Calming herself, Aurora closed her eyes and exhaled deeply, relishing in the soothing atmosphere of the fountain. The fountain smelt so fresh and welcoming, that she wished to swim in it but she had no other clothes to wear, she would leave swimming for next time.
Opening her eyes, she smiled at the fountain and mumbled, "Though your owner is a jerk, you are amazing." And snorted.
Moving on, she walked to the playground and strode toward an archery display. She was surprised to be seeing arrows, as they were no longer in use in most places in this age. Arrows were used by their forefathers, who created them for protection and war.
"Would you like to shoot one?" Damien spoke from behind her, taking her off guard.
"Ahhh, stop doing that," she scolded, puffing her lips in annoyance. Why was he scaring her?
"Doing what? You seem to enjoy it," feigning ignorance, he said, taunting her.
"How do I enjoy being shocked?" She asked.
