Alpha Damien's Breeder: The first night

Chapter 125: Half of a lifetime

"Unfortunate? What happened?" Damien asked.

"Their mistake cost the dark witches their children’s lives. Didn’t you notice there weren’t any kids on the street?" The boy answered, picking up stones.

Now that the boy was mentioning it, he truly didn’t see kids on the street. Normally, kids loved to play on the street and none were on the street where they came from

"Are you not exhausted from having to carry her all the way here?" Staring at Aurora, the boy asked.

"No, I am fine, let’s go." Eager to get things done with, he answered and started walking towards their door but was stopped by the boy.

"Stupid! You don’t just walk into a dark witch’s house." The boy scolded.

Damien felt offended by being called stupid, but the boy was right and he couldn’t help bubbling in his anger.

"I know you want to save her so badly, but you have to be wise to do that. When you are in a witch’s world, you act like one, or all your effort would be in vain." The boy lectured.

"Alright, lead the way," Damien said.

"No, you would lead the way." The boy corrected and Damien frowned. Wasn’t he just yapping about acting like a witch?

"Yapping? All I am saying is you would lead the way but without her, leave her to me." The boy explained.
