Chapter 121: First real kiss
Thinking back at it, she was very happy then even if she had bothersome relatives. She was at peace with her parents. She was born differently from them, but they never hated her for having white hair or not having a wolf.
They loved her like any other good parents would love their daughter. She frowned when she remembered those times her mother would miscarry, making her weep for days that always weakened her.
They sought out answers from different people and even humans as to why she was miscarrying, but there was no answer given. She knew her mother wasn’t fine with it but they had to accept their fate and move on. Thankfully, her mother married a good husband who did not cheat on her or impregnate another woman.
They were one understanding couple, who rarely fought except for little misunderstandings. She had a perfect home and family, the world just decided to snatch it away from her.
She was going to get back at the world, but she needed to get healed first. Strangely, her skin was fine, but it felt like hell inside her.. She frowned, pondering what could be happening to her body. Was her body trying to heal or was it worsening?
"Aurora, the Alpha has instructed everyone to treat you as their Luna, which means you won’t have to do anything in the mansion except be a good wife to him. Are you fine with it?" Scarlet sat on a chair beside Aurora and revealed. The thought had been bugging her mind, but she wanted Aurora to be comfortable before she began revealing something to her.
"He did?" Aurora asked, her thoughts wandering back to what he told her last night. So this was what he meant by not hating him? That bastard won’t stop making decisions for her, she was never going to marry someone like him.
"Yes, I am sorry. I was the one who told him to make the announcement or I was going to run away with you," Scarlet disclosed, which caused Aurora to scream in shock.
"Why? I don’t want to marry him, I want to leave this pack as soon as I am done healing!!" She yelled, angry about the fact that Scarlet made such a big decision for her even after what that jerk did to her.
"You don’t? But I thought you loved him?" Scarlet was starting to panic. She knew Aurora was falling in love with Damien, and thought she would be happy to marry Damien.
"I don’t! He doesn’t love me, he sees me as a plaything. I am like this because of him, because he is too arrogant to acknowledge his mistakes!" Aurora said, yelling through her words.
