Chapter 53: You are naked
Not giving her a chance to respond, he gently removed the torn clothes and carried her in a bridal style towards the bathroom.
How did he manage to do that quickly? What was he?
Aurora panicked as he led the way, desperately searching for an excuse to free herself, but nothing came to mind. She wasn’t injured or tired, and though he had mentioned sleeping together every night, he hadn’t excluded mornings.
"What about tonight? I feel dirty," she suggested, hoping he might agree, but Damien wasn’t easily swayed.
"I have waited too long," he said, making her heart skip a beat. Blushing, she wondered if he meant something more, as his words sounded almost needy.
"Well, there is a way to avoid it?" He suddenly offered, catching her off guard. It seemed there was a way to escape the mating, but he had never mentioned it before. What could It be?
"Surrogacy?" She asked, unable to think of any other option.
As they arrived at the bathroom entrance, Damien didn’t enter. Aurora was only in her bloomer and singlet and awkwardly pulled the bloomer down to cover her thighs when Damien glanced at it.
"Quitting the contract and working here forever as a maid in compensation," he suggested, and her heart sank. She had foolishly believed Damien would let her escape this contract. She felt torn and helpless, knowing it was futile to plead with a man like Damien.
Staring at the bathroom, she wondered if this would finally end her intimacy phobia. Anxiety washed over her, fearing she might faint and ruin everything.
She questioned whether she was truly ready for this. What if she didn’t panic and things went smoothly? Then it was a win-win for both of them. It was worth the try, right?
