Alpha Damien's Breeder: The first night

Chapter 34: Angered Williams

After Damien managed to calm his emotions, he left Aurora’s room with Enoch. Despite Enoch’s persistence, Damien refused to be treated before the meeting with the Elders. As a result, they had to call the pack doctor to attend to Damien while the meeting took place.

During the discussion about the attack, one of the Elders expressed their anger, stating, "He won’t stop until he’s dead." It was evident that they were all aware of the growing animosity between the boss, Edward, and Damien.

Edward wouldn’t risk confronting Damien unless provoked, as there was a deep-rooted conflict between them. They used to be business friends until an unfortunate incident occurred that prohibited any discussion of it.

"Alpha, perhaps it’s time to address the past incident?" Evelyn suggested cautiously, making sure not to sound authoritative to avoid further angering Damien.

As the pack doctor silently worked on Damien’s left arm, the anger emanating from his body was palpable. The doctor’s hands trembled as he wrapped the bandage around Damien’s arm. Observing this, Enoch stepped forward and took over the task, relieving the doctor from his duties.

"Leave," he ordered the pack doctor, who quickly scurried away, still trembling from the frightful encounter.

"Who could have leaked your location? Most of us here were unaware of your departure from the mansion," Williams, Aurora’s close friend and the youngest among the Elders, asked. Damien disliked being monitored, so how was it possible for them to locate and attack him so easily?

"It could have been from the ballet show," one of the Elders suggested, deducing the most plausible answer.

"What about her? Could she be a spy?" Evelyn suggested, provoking Williams. Aurora had been in the mansion long before Damien’s return, so why would she harbor hatred towards the Alpha and want him dead?
