That wasn’t a heritage or treasure available for the taking, so why should strangers be permitted to draw near?
The ruin’s sole purpose for existence was to prevent others from interfering with the cat’s resurrection. The blade was there to protect the cat. No one, apart from the god of Initial Martial, could claim it!
