While Red Dust may have sent Saints, he would not have sent many. At the very least, it would not exceed the number of Saints among the desolate beasts. Li Hao would create the illusion of having ventured forth by himself, but would be actually able to summon multiple Saints at any given time. He might be able to use this opportunity to kill multiple Saints among his enemies!

It all depended on the Barren king and coordination from the Barren army. If Li Hao succeeded, he might be able to eliminate a large number of Saints and even Yu Hai in one battle. He would eradicate all of the minions!

There was one point Li Hao was worried about, and that was if killing all of the Barren desolate beasts would cause the chaos to break. That would automatically start the second awakening. Hence, more information and support from the Barren king was necessary.

Therefore, Li Hao quite wished to meet the king.

Such were Li Hao’s thoughts, but Director General Zhao was still hesitant. He looked at the army assembled across the border.

“The presence we emit is very much at odds with Barren’s atmosphere. They might swiftly discover us once we set foot inside. That leaves only our battles as a potential point of contact. My lord, I will personally meet this Princess Jun in a bit. My only concern is that she’ll turn on us and pretend to agree to our proposal. In reality, she would be looking to lure Your Lordship into Barren.”

“That’s alright.” Li Hao shook his head.

“My lord should not have let Gan Wuliang leave,” the director general suddenly sighed. “With him here, he would be able to determine a thing or two and see if they truly wish to work with us.”

Everyone had quite disliked the guy before, but now they didn’t have such a distaste for him. There were situations that absolutely called for Gan Wuliang at times.

“He should be back very soon,” Li Hao smiled.

“Very soon?” Director General Wang was rather surprised. Ying Hongyue was not an easy target. Could Gan Wuliang resolve him so quickly?
