When Benjamin Sinclair finished listening to her explanation, he thought of how Austin Harper had acted all jumpy many times, and then thought of Renee Anderson’s relationship with Austin, which gave him a sense of disgust.

Why did you still have to set up such a scheme to frame me?" Renee said, directing her words entirely at Adam in the end. Her face was streaming with tears, making her look pitiful.
The crowd gathering around grew larger, and now no one could be sure who was right and who was wrong.
One claimed the child in her womb wasn’t his, and that she was framed, providing recorded evidence.
The other insisted that the recorded evidence was a deliberate attempt to frame and take things out of context, affirming that the child was his.
The child had already been lost, and there was no evidence left. To insist on who was telling the truth or who was lying, no one could bring forth any proof.
Adam narrowed his eyes, his Adam’s apple bobbing, "You know clearly who is framing whom."
"Enough." Benjamin Sinclair felt overwhelmed as if he had two heads. Like the onlookers, he had no idea which of them was telling the truth. He interrupted Adam, pursing his lips and staring at Renee’s pale face, asking, "I heard from Mrs. Anderson that you were pushed down the stairs by that female star?"
He didn’t want to care about whose child Renee was carrying anymore; after all, she no longer had the child in her belly. Based on what Renee just said, he had already eliminated her as a daughter-in-law candidate in his heart. If the child in her belly was Adam’s, the Sinclair Family could compensate her with some money afterward.
The thing he wanted to do most now was to quickly cut ties, making Adam break up with that female star first, "Is that right, Renee?"
