Adam Sinclair’s attitude was even colder than what Renee had told her. When a man remains indifferent and even shows disgust towards your miscarriage, even if you can manage to marry this man eventually, you can never capture his heart. What exactly was Renee thinking, was such a gamble worth it?

She snorted coldly, turned to Benjamin Sinclair, and asked with a cold face, "Is Director Sinclair’s attitude the same? If it is, then consider my daughter Renee unfortunate in her choice of people. We can’t afford to provoke, but reporting to the police should be fine, right?"
Her meaning was if Benjamin Sinclair had the same attitude as Adam, she would threaten to make a big scene out of it. Everybody will become famous together.
Now that Harrington Group has already gone bankrupt, such unsavory incidents blowing up publicly would only bother Sinclair International. Because the impact would only tarnish Sinclair International’s reputation!
Sometimes reputation means nothing, but sometimes it can affect stock performance.
