Five minutes later, the car came to a steady stop in front of the hospital.
Baron Lawrence was the first to get out of the car.
As the cold night wind blew, the heat within him finally cooled somewhat, and his breathing became less heavy. Most importantly, with Enna Clark’s pervasive presence no longer beside him, the restless impulse subsided naturally, and the temperature of his body followed suit.
He let the cold wind blow on him for two minutes, finally controlling the heat in his abdomen. He turned around, took the hand of the embarrassed young woman, his expression returned to normal, as if nothing dangerous had happened in the car just now, and said naturally, "Let’s go."
