Enna Clark was holding coffee when she ran into Kendall Lynch bolting out from the door.
She pushed the door open, surprised, and saw the domineering man. Curiously, she asked, "I just encountered someone rushing out of your office at the door, what happened?"
"It’s nothing!" Baron Lawrence didn’t want to tell her that Kendall had come to discuss the possibility of becoming his lover.
Anyway, it was something he would never agree to, so it made no sense to talk about it!

"Oh." Enna still thought Kendall was someone from the company who had just stumbled upon Baron Lawrence when he was in a bad mood, got scolded, and couldn’t bear it so she rushed out. Enna didn’t think much of it, her lips slightly lifted in a smile, she walked over to his desk with the coffee, placed it on his office table, and said, "Here, the coffee you wanted. I brewed it a bit longer just as you said, and I added a sugar cube, try the taste."
From the moment Baron Lawrence saw her, his mood had lightened considerably. He picked up the coffee Enna had made for him and asked nonchalantly, "Why would you make coffee for me?"
"Isn’t it what you wanted to drink?" Enna replied, surprised, then as if remembering something, she grinned and said, "Ah, I forgot to tell you. When I arrived, I ran into Scott, he said he was busy and had to run to the Project Department, so he asked me to make coffee for you."
