Chapter 1088 - Chapter 1088 Chapter 1088 Baby Bobby Meets Old Master
Chapter 1088: Chapter 1088: Baby Bobby Meets Old Master Lawrence Chapter 1088: Chapter 1088: Baby Bobby Meets Old Master Lawrence As they talked, they had already reached the front of the living room.
The grand living room was as imposing as ever, with European court-style furniture and a large crystal chandelier that exuded unspeakable luxury, just like a Middle Ages mansion from the movies!
Giselle Lawrence was particularly curious about unfamiliar things; holding Tobias Clark’s hand, her clear, large black and white eyes looked here and there, shaking her head incessantly as if she couldn’t stop herself.
If Tobias hadn’t been holding her, she might well have dashed off in all directions by now.
There were several servants standing by in the living room, ready to attend to any need. Other than that, there was no sign of the Old Master. Yet, a sense of authority was already approaching them–
Tobias silently contemplated the information the housekeeper had shared with him.
It seemed that Grandpa Housekeeper hadn’t lied to him; his difficult-to-deal-with grandpa really was a tough character and seemed not easily approachable.
Otherwise, these servants wouldn’t maintain such a high level of alertness even in the absence of others, clearly the result of strict discipline.
In his mind, he silently calculated whether the approach he had thought of earlier would be effective or not; after much consideration, he decided to wait and see before deciding whether to adjust his strategy.
Just then, a figure descended the circular staircase.
Tobias looked up–only to see an elderly man with a head of grey hair descending the stairs with lively vigor. His hair was neatly combed, and he wore a British Style checkerboard sweater, which, despite his years, clearly showed his good taste; the sweater sat smoothly and neatly on his frame!
Although he held a cane in his hand, it was merely for decoration, as he didn’t lean on it when he walked.
His posture was very upright, and his steps down the stairs were stable.
If no one had mentioned it, one would never have guessed he was already in his seventies.
Tobias immediately identified the identity of the man descending and braced himself, his small face becoming serious as he gathered his full attention.
His little face didn’t show much, but a closer look would reveal that he was tense, indicating he was somewhat nervous. Mainly, it was his eyes, which were firm, as though he was about to enter a battlefield.
Baby Gigi was too young to understand any of this.
She saw a grandpa coming down the stairs and watched him curiously while hesitantly glancing back at Tobias, as if to confirm something.
Seeing Tobias did not pay attention to her, she pouted her small mouth and suddenly shouted crisply at the figure in front, “Grandpa!”
Her voice was clear and childlike!
She had learned this term before, but at that time, she could only pronounce the first word, not nearly as clear as now.
