Epilogue 2: Sawa
Lil shook her head helplessly.

The sound of drums drowned out the splashes of the waterfall. M’jasiri looked Lil up and down and smiled, baring her fangs. She then pointed to the pattern on their chest and said.

The priest bowed deeply toward the black well and repeated.
“Sawa.”
