Chapter 182: I wish I could touch it
Tang Xue Mei walked out of Leia’s hospital room, An Yu following closely behind her. They found the doctor in the hallway.
"When can she leave?" Tang Xue Mei asked, her voice calm and composed.
The doctor thought for a moment. "If everything goes smoothly, I’d say she can leave tomorrow morning. We’ll need to keep an eye on her for the next 24 hours, but after that, she should be able to go home."
Tang Xue Mei nodded, her expression serene. "Okay, thank you, doctor. We’ll make sure to take good care of her."
An Yu nodded silently beside her, his eyes fixed on the doctor’s face.
With that, Tang Xue Mei and An Yu returned to Leia’s bedside, where Leia was now sitting up, looking a bit more energetic.
"Hey, Leia," Tang Xue Mei said, smiling softly. "How are you feeling?"
Leia winced, her eyes squinting in pain. "My head hurts...and my leg feels like it’s on fire."
Tang Xue Mei nodded sympathetically. "The doctor says you’re going to be okay. You just need to rest and take it easy for a while but you should be able to go home after 24 hours of observation."
Leia nodded, looking relieved. "Okay..."
