College exams weren’t like high school; students took one every couple of days, and sometimes even a week apart.
Additionally, college operated on a credit system where one could graduate once all credits were completed. Ning An’s goal was simply to not fail any course and to successfully graduate in her senior year. As for honors or scholarships, those were beyond her pursuit.
While everyone was discussing buying tickets to go home, she was also looking at tickets, except hers were for a vacation getaway.
After finishing her last exam, Ning An, carrying her suitcase, came down and saw Xu Weiran already waiting for her at the building’s entrance.
Taking the suitcase from her, Xu Weiran asked, "Are you sure you want to go straight to the airport? Don’t you need to go back and say goodbye to your grandparents, uncles, and aunts?"
"No need, no need," she had already informed them. She had even sent her luggage back home in advance. What remained were just the items needed for the vacation.
The two first returned to their residential area. Getting off the car, Xu Weiran told Ning An, "I’ve called a cab to the airport, it will arrive soon. You wait downstairs for a bit while I go up and get my luggage."
"Got it!"
Xu Weiran walked a few steps then came back, reminding her, "ID card, passport, and visa—do you want to check again to make sure you’ve brought everything?"
Ning An: "Don’t worry, I’ve checked."
