Extra Survival Guide to Overpowering Hero and Villain

Chapter 5: Spirit II

The Great Demon War was described in the book as one of the most devastating conflicts in ancient times.

During that era, there existed Six Supremes—individuals chosen as the strongest of their respective races. Each Supreme held unmatched power, and they came from the Human, Elf, Dragon, Dwarf, Fairy, and Demon races.

Among them, the Dragon Supreme was considered the strongest, though also the most lethargic, rarely interfering in worldly affairs. Because of this, there was an peace era, as none of the Supremes sought to wage war or challenge one another given they are almost equal in power.

But that peace shattered when the Demon King unearthed a lost power from an even more ancient era—a power so immense that it allowed him to challenge the Six Supremes.

His first target was the Dragon Supreme, whom he killed, weakening the once-feared dragon race.

After that, he set his sights on the Fairy King- The Second strongest Supreme and killed him as well.

The Fairies, unlike the Dragons, were a peaceful and gentle race, uninterested in power struggles. But their true value lay in their Fairy Dust, a miraculous substance that could enhance one's mana capacity and even grant enlightenment to mages.

With the pillar of their strength—the Fairy King—gone, the Fairies were left defenseless.

They fought back as best as they could, but their numbers dwindled rapidly. Over 90% of their population perished, forcing the survivors into hiding.

In their final desperate act, they were forced to refine the Fairy King's body into the Fairy Ring, an artifact of immense power. But in the chaos as they decided to hide in hidden pocket dimension, the ring was lost, vanishing from their hands-The fairies too afraid to came out of the hidden pocket dimension chose to forget about it.

As the outside world continued to wage wars among themselves, the Great Demon War finally ended when the Demon King was slain—defeated by the combined efforts of the remaining Supremes.
