The atmosphere in the entire classroom was extremely tense.
Everyone had huddled into the corners of the room, trembling as they watched the confrontation between the blond-haired boy and the blue-haired boy.
"Th-this is Jellal, a transfer student from Paradise High..." Happy, who looked suspiciously like a blue cat, stammered out the introduction before quickly scurrying off to the side.
"Well, well, I never expected to see you here... Je-llal~," Noel said through gritted teeth, enunciating each syllable.
"It truly is a troublesome twist of fate, Noel," Jellal replied coldly from the podium, his expression just as unpleasant.
It was as if a bolt of wild lightning suddenly tore through the air, sparking an invisible storm of tension.
Noel, seated in his chair, and Jellal, standing on the podium, glared at each other—completely unabashed in displaying their killing intent.
"Did you tell Lia about me going on a date with that girl last week? Are you trying to get me killed, you bastard?!"
"No shit. Why else would I tell Lia if I didn’t want you dead? Don’t think I don’t know you’ve been running your mouth about my business, you moron!"
"You’re the one who screwed me over last time! I almost ended up having tea with God thanks to you!!"
"Well, what a joyous occasion that would’ve been—one less menace in the world!!"
