Jellal looked at the opposing Luther and spoke in a calm voice.
"Former member of the Ten Wizard Saints, huh. Interesting, but also a troublesome opponent. Why couldn’t someone else have run into him? Like Dylan or someone, and then they could fight to a draw or something, and I could just swoop in and take the position."
Luther rolled his eyes, ignoring Jellal as he muttered to himself.
The three members of Crime Sorciere fell silent at the sight.
The corner of Jellal’s mouth twitched almost imperceptibly, and then he said, "Hey, did you even hear what I said?"
"Yes, yes, troublesome guy." Luther raised his gun and lightly tapped his head with it, looking impatient.
"Whatever. I guess this might actually be kind of fun. The three of you should just come at me together."
"So confident?" Ultear furrowed her brows slightly.
Just now, Luther had called out their names and origins, which showed he clearly knew who they were—and likely had a good grasp of their abilities.
And yet, even so, he still had the confidence to take on all three at once.
