In Mercurius Palace, a guard sprinted through the corridor, rushing all the way to Princess Hisui’s chamber.
After saluting, he could hardly contain his urgency as he loudly reported:
"Your Highness, terrible news!! A report just came in—The Garou Knights... have been completely wiped out!"
"Impossible?!"
"Just by those few mages?!"
The guards protecting Princess Hisui erupted in shock, their voices filled with disbelief.
However, none of them noticed that Princess Hisui’s expression remained unexpectedly calm.
She simply let out a soft sigh.
"Wearing such an expression at a time like this is quite inappropriate."
A sudden, aged voice startled Princess Hisui slightly.
She turned around to see Minister Darton approaching her with steady steps.
