In one corner of Tenrou Island, the heavily injured Makarov, Natsu, and Ishu were resting, with Wendy tending to their wounds.
Wendy stopped her healing magic, wiped the sweat from her forehead, and muttered in a discouraged tone, "My magic power... it's not enough. This is the best I can do."
"Thanks, Wendy."
Natsu, who was sitting on the ground, expressed his gratitude.
Among the three, his injuries were the least severe.
Though he had taken a few direct hits from Ophelia, and despite the sheer destructive power of her attacks, his Dragon Slayer resilience allowed him to endure them.
For now, at least, he remained conscious and capable of moving.
However, Makarov and Ishu had both fallen into unconsciousness.
Seeing Wendy's dejected expression, Carla reassured her, "Wendy, don't push yourself too hard. You've already done more than enough."
"Yeah, yeah!" Happy and Pantherlily also nodded in agreement.
