"That's how it is, Mira, Noel. Cana didn't say the reason either. What exactly is going on?"
Early in the morning, inside the Fairy Tail guild, Lucy sat at the bar, recounting to Noel and Mira about Cana's unusual behavior last night—she even mentioned wanting to leave the guild.
Feeling troubled, Lucy asked the two of them.
After listening to Lucy's explanation, Noel and Mira, in contrast to Lucy's distress, remained quite calm.
Mira continued wiping a glass with a gentle smile on her face.

"Yeah, that's true. Every year around this time, Cana starts acting a little strange. When we ask her about it, she never explains why. But since nothing serious has ever happened, I don't think there's much to worry about."
Noel, resting his chin on his hand, answered softly.
His left eye, a serene blue, remained calm, while his right eye stayed closed.
His original eyepatch had been torn apart during his battle with Edolas Noel, and since he found it too much trouble to get a new one, he simply kept his right eye shut.
