Somewhere in Edolas.
Two figures slowly descended onto a clearing in a forest.
One was a young man, and the other a young woman, both appearing to be no older than twenty.
The young woman had a delicate, beautiful face framed by pure white hair, and she wore a black outer coat.
The young man had silver hair, a strikingly handsome face, but only his left eye was visible—his right eye was covered by an eyepatch.
As soon as they landed, the white wings on their backs dissipated into countless specks of light and vanished.
"So... this is Edolas?" Mira murmured to herself, taking in the completely unfamiliar scenery before her.
On their way to Edolas, Noel had already explained several things to Mira, including the existence of [Anima], the true identity of Mystogan, and the fact that Edolas was an entirely different world—practically the polar opposite of Earthland.
But even after hearing about it, seeing it with her own eyes still filled her with amazement.
Unusual plants, strange terrains, animals she had never seen before, and even rivers flowing through the sky—this world shattered everything she thought she knew.
Standing beside her, Noel nodded. "Yes, this is Edolas—our world, Earthland's parallel counterpart. Mystogan mentioned that in this world, there exists another version of each of us."
