As Noel and Jura were just about to set off to catch up with the others who had left earlier, Ichiya suddenly spoke up:
"Before that, Jura-dono, Noel-dono, I've heard that both of you are among the Ten Wizard Saints, and that Noel-dono even defeated Joseph, the master of Phantom Lord, who was also one of the Ten?"
"That's correct."
"Is something the matter, Ichiya?"
Noel and Jura looked at Ichiya with puzzled expressions, unsure why he had suddenly brought this up.
Ichiya put on a serious expression. "Can the two of you match Master Makarov in strength?"
"How could that be possible?" Jura waved his hand modestly and said, "The title of the Ten Wizard Saints is decided by the Council. I'm merely the lowest-ranked among them. Compared to Master Makarov, who holds the same title, and Noel-dono, my strength is worlds apart."
"What about you, Noel-dono?" Ichiya turned to look at Noel.
Noel scratched his cheek. "I'm not sure, I've never fought him. But if we're talking purely about combat experience in magic, there's still quite a considerable gap."
"Hearing that puts my mind at ease."
After listening to Jura and Noel's responses, a barely noticeable smile flickered across Ichiya's lips.
