"I have a feeling something big is about to happen... But seriously, why am I involved in such a dangerous operation? And why is it just the few of us again?" Lucy complained loudly while sitting inside the vehicle.
"I think it's a hassle too, but stop whining already," Gray sighed beside her.
"These are the members Master chose, so stop complaining. Shouldn't we be living up to his expectations?" Erza spoke up, seeing everyone looking unmotivated.
The group fell silent, except for Natsu, who was half-dead from motion sickness.
After thinking for a moment, Lucy said, "But if it's a fight, aren't Juvia and Gajeel around too?"
"They seem to have other tasks to take care of, so they couldn't come with us. Otherwise, we'd have a better chance in this battle," Noel shrugged as he explained.
"This is actually a good thing," Erza said.
"We're all original members and know each other well. This is our first time working with other guilds, so ensuring our own teamwork doesn't fall apart is the most important thing."
