Arthur felt uneasy after his meeting with Thorne. He needed time alone to think and plan what to do next.
He walked into his room seeing Lily putting his clean shirts in the wardrobe.
Her hair was neatly braided and her maid's uniform was clean, but Arthur could tell something was wrong. Her shoulders were stiff and her hands were shaking slightly.
"Lily," he said quietly.
She turned and bowed. "My lord." Her voice was low, and she didn't look directly at him. "I've laid out your clothes for tomorrow's Trial."
