I had many reasons for translating the novel (monetary gain was not the highest priority among them) You barely earn 0.3-0.4 USD for every 1000 views of a novel in Foxaholic. So, this was not my priority as I earned much more in my part time job. However, Covid has had a disastrous effect on my family as it has on many others around the world. I had not expected the disastrous financial situation of the family at that time. My father barely earns anything nowadays. While my university has been kind enough to give me loan to continue my studies, we have no idea the scale of impact Covid will have in the next few months (and years) on the economy.
