Stolen by the Beastly Lycan King

Chapter 121: Electrifying Thought

Althea turned the key in the lock and smiled, her slender fingers brushing over the worn wooden surface of the door.

She hadn’t visited this place in quite some time, and as she stepped inside, she couldn’t help but admit that she had missed it. Every time she entered this room, a thrilling chill would run through her body, sending a surge of pulsating energy to her heart.

It was a space that belonged solely to her—a hidden room beneath the main palace grounds, built in secret by those who had paid with their lives for their loyalty and service.

It was the queen’s spell room.

When Althea first arrived at the palace, she had spent countless sleepless nights here, meticulously crafting her plan for revenge. The queen had gathered rare poisonous herbs and mushrooms, forbidden powders smuggled into the kingdom by nomads, the carcasses of dead beasts, magical creatures, and, above all... dozens of lifeless human bodies.

Years had been spent in this very room, toiling away on her intricate scheme. Now, after so long, the cycle was almost complete. Just a little longer, and her plan would finally come to fruition.

With careful, deliberate movements, Althea reached into the pocket of her black silk robe and withdrew a small glass bottle filled with a viscous red liquid. The once-bright redness had already begun to fade, replaced by a dark crimson hue spreading ominously around the edges.

"How peculiar," she murmured, bringing the bottle filled with Lorelai’s blood closer to her face. "Even blood as pure as hers can darken and become muddied. Her body has started fighting back—and I know exactly who to blame for it."

She snarled as the handsome face of the lycan king materialized before her eyes, his arrogant grin irritating her to no end. She had known immediately when she called for Lorelai after giving her the dagger. The moment the princess cut her arm and watched the blood flow, Althea realized something was terribly wrong.
