Naruto: Unlocking Kaido Template

Chapter 167

"Support from the Akatsuki? Fine by me." Guren sneered, her expression cold and indifferent. In her eyes, this masked stranger who appeared out of nowhere was more of a threat than an ally. The situation had already gone to hell—she had no expectations left.

Tobi remained silent. It wasn't that he didn't want to talk, but he was still trying to figure out who the hell this masked man was. There shouldn't be anyone like him in the Akatsuki, so there was only one explanation.

"This guy's backing? Doesn't matter," he muttered to himself. One more or one less—he'd just kill them all.

The masked man, with a long ponytail and dressed in a light blue warrior's uniform, calmly rested his hand on the sword at his waist. His tone was composed and steady.

"I'm a member of the Hundred Teaching Academy of Uzushio no Kuni (Land of Whirlpools). You two can call me Kazekiri. As for the Akatsuki—you're not getting the Three-Tails."

The clone revealed his identity, but Guren didn't lower her guard. Who knew if this guy was bluffing? What was really in his mind? How could she trust someone so suspicious?

"The Land of Whirlpools... Kazekiri..." Tobi gaze shifted slightly. He seemed to recall something but showed no signs of backing down. His goal was still the Three-Tails.

Seeing that the enemy had no intention of leaving, the clone made his move.

He drew his sword with a single hand, then gripped it with both. A cyclone of wind burst from around his body, warping the air. Though the surrounding environment bent under the pressure, his blade remained untouched—its speed and sharpness seemed to grow within the storm.

With a sweeping slash, a wall of wind formed between him and Tobi.

But this wasn't an ordinary wall of wind. Shattered crystal fragments were woven into its currents. Anyone who touched it would be torn apart by razor-sharp wind blades and jagged shards.
