Millim seemed troubled by the result and whispered something into Dia-chan's ear. In response, Dia quietly left the stage, telling everyone to wait due to a technical issue.
In the meantime, the others resumed singing. The music was still enjoyable, but without Dia-chan, it somehow felt less magical, like something was missing.
A few minutes later, Dia-chan returned, her expression calmer than before.
Dia: "We apologize for the brief silence. There was a small technical issue... It turns out that two tickets were drawn instead of one. After some discussion, we agreed that it would be unfair to redraw—so instead of one winner... there will be TWO!"
That meant my chances just doubled—though I still didn't really believe I'd win.
Like everyone else, I pulled out my ticket, my heart pounding as I waited for the results.
Dia: "The winning numbers, granting two of you the chance to become magical girls and fight at our side—or form a duet with Albafica—are..."
The suspense was starting to feel heavy, and everyone began to hold their breath—including me.
