The crimson princess

Author's note: Be careful, you won't have the impression that we are in Rimuru's mind, but think about the fact that I used a technique which had the side effect of erasing his memories. And also he didn't have the same experience as the original Rimuru so that's why you won't recognize him.

Pov Rimuru,

My life has changed a lot since I was with Dia-sama. I discovered a lot of nice and unpleasant things like for example strong people scare and can kill you in a snap.

When Sirzechs-sama almost killed me since he met me while I was walking alone in the mansion, I decided to stay with Dia-sama because I know that she has a status and that she can help me. But I think I have to stop relying on her because she's still a little girl and if I start being independent of her much later, she might feel bad.

She is so nice even if she likes to throw me against the wall to wake me up. In reality, when I feel my body reforming I have a strange sensation but it is not unpleasant. That's why I yell a lot but do nothing.

I watched her grow up with her for two years. When I advised her on how to use her POD, it was as if a new world was opening up to her.

I saw her trying to create weapons. I saw her fail hundreds, thousands of times, but she never got discouraged.

I started from that moment to have admiration for her.

She never treated me as a familiar but rather as a friend, so I decided I would stay on these shores until I died.

We had to go see Schathach, a twisted warrior and an excellent coach who trained heroes. Dia-sama, Sera-sama, we managed to be taken as his students.

Even if all this is due to Dia-sama, I was trembling just in front of her pressure.

I was really moved by her monologue and her desire not to abandon us.
