Chapter 52: PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE
Roman followed Chen Yu into the training hall, still trying to digest everything he had witnessed. The clash of strength, the overwhelming presence of the girls sparring before him, and the aura of mystery Chen carried—everything weighed heavily on his mind.
He turned to Chen Yu, frowning slightly.
"You have such powerful allies," Roman said, voice laced with both awe and curiosity. "And you managed to keep yourself hidden until now... It’s only been a month since the challenges began. How the hell are you already this strong?"
He paused, eyes searching Chen’s.
"And... I want to know something," he said quietly. "If you really trust me, then tell me—what’s your rank? If you won’t share your class, at least give me that much."
Chen Yu stopped walking. He turned slowly to face Roman, his expression unreadable.
He gazed at the young man for a few seconds, then let out a light chuckle.
"You’re as curious as ever," Chen said, voice softening.
A flicker of memory crossed his mind—Roman from his past life. He had only met him once, but even back then, the guy was the same—full of questions, always seeking answers.
Chen sighed.
"Alright," he said. "Since you’ve joined me, I’ll give you some clarity."
