Chapter 3: LITTLE FUN
As soon as we stepped out of the café, I turned to Bai Ruxue with a casual smile.
"I'm a little hungry," I said. "How about we grab something to eat first?"
She raised an eyebrow at me, crossing her arms.
"Hmph. Fine. But let's be clear—I don't eat at roadside stalls," she said, flipping her hair. {Let's see his face turn pale when I say this.}
"I only dine at five-star restaurants."
I smirked. "Alright then, let's go to one."
Her eyes widened for a moment, clearly not expecting that answer.
{Wait... what? Did he agree that easily? He's bluffing. No way he's serious.} she thought as she followed beside me.
Just ahead was the five-star restaurant I had seen earlier—the one I used to dream about from outside the glass windows.
We walked in together.
The staff glanced at us, some with curious eyes. I didn't hesitate.
