Xu Kai’s eyes burned red as he stepped forward.
The west wall groaned under the pressure of hundreds of mutated beasts, but his presence shifted the air. The moment he raised his hand, the entire battlefield went still for a heartbeat—as if time itself hesitated in fear.
Then, he whispered again, that same word he had used before.
"Collapse."
It was quiet. Calm. But what followed was anything but.
The beasts didn’t even have time to react. Their claws froze in mid-air, their roars cut short. And then—
Boom.
Dozens upon dozens of beasts exploded all at once.
Flesh tore apart. Bones shattered like glass. Blood mist filled the air, soaking the wall, the stone, the fighters, the corpses. The wall became a scene of crimson rain. A storm of gore. Heads rolled down the steps. Limbs twisted in impossible directions.
There was no fire.
No weapons.
