Chapter 149: Even if there is only one brick or one tile, we must rebuild our home with our own hands! (02)
At the same time, in a deserted wasteland in the far north—
With a flash of light, Liora’s figure appeared in a vast open space.
The view around here is wide. In the distance, there are several buildings that are tilted but not completely collapsed. Weeds are growing out of the ruins. The sky is vast, there are no zombies in sight, and there are no roars of mutated beasts or insects; the place particularly looked calm and peaceful.
The wind blew, and the grass waves undulated.
She slowly raised her head, took a deep breath, and her eyes gradually brightened as she took in the scenery.
"It’s here," she whispered in a low voice, but the fire of hope gradually ignited in her eyes. "Start from here, build our base."
Although she fully trusted the coordinates of the silver-white sphere, she did not allow any omissions. She waved her hand gently, and the next moment, a large shadow surged out from under her feet, rolling out like a tide.
It was the shadow of a huge three-horned rhinoceros, particularly very large and very powerful. Liora could feel a chill emanating from it. But it did not affect her because she knew they were very docile to her and loyal. It’s just their nature of bloodthirstiness as beasts from misty forests; even though they are calm, their breath is the dangerous.
"Go, clear all mutants and zombies within a hundred kilometers," she ordered softly.
These shadows disappeared into the sky like sharp arrows, so fast that it was difficult to catch them. They were almost invisible in the sun, but they were like the arrival of the god of death, hunting silently.
All the wandering low-level zombies along the way, the mutated insects hidden in the depths of the ruins, and the rotten corpses lurking underground all had no escape from these shadows.
