Chapter 207: Above average (m)
Cass was uncomfortable.
There was no way he was going to be comfortable in the situation he found himself in.
Lucian was bare chested next to him on his right, lying on his side as if he was his personal temptation, and Vespertine was lying on his back to the left of him, his beautiful face on full display in the darkness. They were behaving like angels, like they hadn’t been arguing about who got to sleep with him only an hour prior.
Cass was also lying on his back, his hands clenching around the blanket like this was going to make this any easier.
This was what those idiots had decided on. Cass was going to lie in the middle between them, like some kid sharing the bed with his parents. At least, that’s what Cass thought.
He’d never had parents to do this with, so this was just an assumption made from the media he had consumed.
Well, that wasn’t quite true. Lucian had also protested, since Cass normally got cold in the middle of the night, that he should sleep in his arms like he had the previous night. That had resulted in a lot of arguing that had Cass putting his foot down and this was the outcome.
He couldn’t believe that they were asleep. Cass’ mind was racing. His heart was racing, and he was having a hard time tearing his gaze away from each of them. Fuck. Fuck.
He felt like a lecherous old man. Cass said fuck it, and turned over until he was on his front. He couldn’t have thoughts about them if he couldn’t fucking see either of them. He closed his eyes, begging that he would fall asleep as soon as possible.

Cass woke up fucking freezing. He felt like his bones were rattling, his teeth chattering as that all consuming cold filled his body again. Fuck. Fuck. Moaning, groaning, Cass reached out, hitting the warm heater that was the fire dragon next to him and Lucian chuckled.
