Chapter 6: My First Spell Was Bondage Magic
"Parappa rapper... Seiou-sama has leveled up."
Suddenly, along with a burst of light, a strange little girl with wings appeared.
She looked to be around twenty centimeters tall, with the appearance of a fairy straight out of a fairy tale, purple, shiny hair and the look of a girl in her mid-teens.
"I am Macaron, a fairy who serves Lady Freya. From now on, I will be assisting you, Seiou-sama."
Macaron spun gracefully in the air before us. It seemed she could fly.
"A divine messenger of Lady Freya. Just like in the legends!" Princess Ellis said, looking very pleased with herself. I, on the other hand, had no idea what was going on.
"To put it simply," Macaron continued, "I'm here to watch over you, Seiou-sama. Whenever your level goes up, I'll come to report it."
"This world has levels?" I asked.
"Yes. Normally, people can't see their levels. But since you're a messenger of the Supreme Rulers, you can view your stats and level."
So it's kind of like a game, huh?
"You leveled up just now, so I came to tell you."
