Chapter 1: Unrivaled with Sex Magic
"Let's gooo!"
Together with the Imperial officer's shout, the enemy archers fired their arrows in unison.
A ton of arrows, almost covering the sky, rained down deadly on the wall where my soldiers and I were holed up.
"Matt shield, deploy!"
With my voice giving orders, shields unfolded above the heads of our soldiers.
The shield is made of a transparent but thick vinyl that doesn't exist in this world. It is made of two mats used in soaplands (high-end ones at that) joined together.
One after another, arrows pierce the mats above the heads of the allied soldiers.
The sharp tip of the arrow, made of iron, easily pierces the vinyl of the mat. But the tip is the only part that is strong. The butt of the arrow, where the feathers are sewn in, gets caught and stops the arrow's momentum.
It's the same principle as the mother-of-pearl garments of the Sengoku period.
