Lord Theodore's Favorite Ritual

Chapter 233: The Change Of History.

Meanwhile,

Something snapped in the air suddenly and Theodore felt too light suddenly, it was as if, something profound had left him and immediately he thought of his mother. Had something happened to her? he has always been somehow connected hers and he knew through that invisinle link that she was ok but now it appeared, something must have happened to her.

Theodore’s vision blurred as he fought, the toll of the battle weighing heavily on his body and mind. His once pristine clothing and home was now a war zone, the grand parlour hall transformed into a scene of carnage. Blood stained the marble floors, and the bodies of the fallen lay strewn about like discarded ragdolls.

His magic resistance and protection has broken.

He had sustained a deep gash across his side, the pain searing with every movement. Dark magic had struck him multiple times, sapping his strength and leaving him dangerously weakened. Still, he persisted, his sword clutched tightly in his hand as he faced the onslaught of enemies.

Around him, the situation was dire. Hound lay on the ground, unconscious but breathing, his loyal companion felled by a vicious spell. The twins, Gabriel and Tom, were down as well, their bodies motionless except for the shallow rise and fall of their chests. The hired guards, brave and valiant to the end, had all perished in the fight, their sacrifice a stark reminder of the gravity of the situation.

Through the haze of pain and exhaustion, Theodore’s eyes finally found Azul. The man stood with an air of regal confidence, his presence commanding the room. Azul’s gaze was fixed on Lydia, who stood on the staircase, looking down at the scene with a mixture of fear and confusion.

"Lydia, come with me," Azul’s voice was smooth and persuasive, a stark contrast to the chaos around them. "This is not your fight. You belong with me, your true family."

"Sam, come with me" he reffered to Helena as he mother because he didn’t know her name.

"Keep her name out of your mouth" Helena wailed, her hand tightening around Ebony.

"Lydia!" Theodore called the second he saw her, drawing his favourite ocean-blue eyes to him.
