"I will flaunt my success and happiness before Lyse." Brooke said dreamily, "she will feel sorry that she ever insult me. I’m going to be even wealthier than Levi is."
Brooke’s eyes sparkled. "And can you believe it?" she asked, her voice hushed with awe. "Mara was actually Maeve Welhaven! Maeve Welhaven! The only daughter of Sam Welhaven!"
The video had been so unearthed and it had surpassed her expectations by miles. She had hoped for a few luxury cars, some company share and money. She had instead gotten the chance to join a very prestigious family.
