I Married My Ex's Billionaire Father

Chapter 25: How Stupid Your Reasoning Is

"I am so sorry sir, I tried to tell her that you were not expecting any visitors but she forced her way through." His frazzled looking secretary explained.

Levi looked from her to the calm and unbothered woman who stood by the door arrogantly, looking at him as if daring him to try to refuse her entry into his office. He could not blame his secretary, there was barely anyone that this woman would not bulldoze just to get her way.

"It’s okay Justine, you may leave us alone and return to your duties." Levi said and she stepped out of the office and shut the door.

"I would fired that one if I were you." She said then without being invited she walked to the chairs opposite his desk and took a seat before daintily lifting one stockinged leg over the other and Levi raised an eyebrow.

For someone who had a son in his mid twenties, Sutton still resembled the seemingly chaste and pristine teenager that he had thought her to be until she pulled off the mask and showed him that she was a vapid, underhanded witch.

Unfortunately, he discovered her true nature when it was too late and he was already tied to her for life.

"What do you want?" He asked brusquely when it was obvious that she would not speak unless he urged her, "I am sure that I sent you this month’s check."

Then he raised an eyebrow suggestively and sneered, "Or have you grown tired of spinning Dr Marlowe around your pinky and have come to try me? You will remember that I am a hard nut to crack."
