Chapter 319
"The queen is ready to speak with you."
Fraser didn’t react at first, thinking the demon was playing a trick on him, but when he heard the key unlocking the cell door, he walked to the opened door to leave. He was impatient waiting for some news about his mother and Amelia. He could not spend another second in the disgusting cell surrounded by people who were beneath him.
It was about time Amelia properly addressed him so he knew what was going to happen to him and what had happened to his mother. He hated to think that his mother abandoned him and took the chance to leave without him. They were supposed to stick together. His mother was the only person he had left to fight for him.
"I will take you to where she waits for you. Do not run," the demon advised Fraser. He hoped they would get the chance to taste the soul of a king even though it smelled rotten. If this king were to go down into the underworld, there was a good chance he could be tortured for an eternity.
Humans with titles such as queen, king, or just called themselves the leader of many people were always tortured more than others. Lucifer liked them since it was thanks to the corrupted royals that more souls came into the underworld and more demons were made.
Fraser looked around at the people who had to be jealous of him leaving the dungeon while they remained to suffer here. "You should have listened to me and I would have fought hard for you to be freed now. You should spend your days regretting not listening to your king. Waste away here," Fraser told the trapped people.
The demon closed the cell, enjoying the blood lust that filled the room because of the foolish king’s words. He wanted nothing more than to lock the king with the others when the queen was finished. Have the people give him a good beating until he was on the verge of death.
Fraser smiled in the faces of the people who glared at him and then turned around to follow the small weird-looking demon. "Where is my cousin waiting for me?" He asked.
The demon did not respond since Fraser had no power to ask a question and expect an answer.
Fraser gritted his teeth, angered by how the demon ignored him. This was his castle now and Amelia bought her filthy pests into it. ’If we are going to the throne room, I should make a run for the temple,’ he thought.
It was the safest place away from the creatures because the Gods would protect him if he prayed and asked for help. They could not turn their backs on a king. There had to be a God angered by demons in this world and would lend a hand to Fraser to get rid of Amelia. All he needed to do was make it to the temple in one piece.
Fraser slowed down his pace to put some distance between himself and the demon in front of him. With a little space between them for him to get a head start, he would outrun the demon.
