Chapter 317
"Why do you look so bored, Amelia? Don’t tell me that you’re missing your husband already. Don’t be boring," said Lilith. She was ready to raise hell with Amelia and have fun with all the women tonight.
Lilith had never been so impatient in her life as she waited for the sun to go away and the moon to come out so that she would have fun. It would have been much better if Amelia wasn’t pregnant so they could get drunk and do stupid things.
"I am not thinking about Killian. I was thinking about my mother and why she has not returned yet. She volunteered to walk my aunt out of the castle but has not returned yet. I am trying to think of what the two of them could say to each other. I hope they are not fighting," Amelia replied.
"Why? I am in the mood to see a good fight. Your mother looks like she can handle herself and your aunt doesn’t seem easy either. I say we let them pull each other’s hair out and get it over with. Do you want to go out to see if they are fighting? A little chaos might make you know what grow well," Lilith said, pointing at Amelia’s stomach.
"I know that you are here mostly to help me communicate with demons and to help me judge everyone’s sins, but if you are bored, you can explore the kingdom. There is so much for you to see, Lilith. Take a few guards and explore. Your time here should be fun," Amelia said, wanting Lilith to see what had changed since she had become a demon.
"I am already having a lot of fun here with you. Your family is so full of drama so it is always entertaining. I mean, look at the man your mother is walking with. You just got your mother back and it looks like you’ll find a new father. Where else could I be so entertained?" Lilith questioned, enjoying the shock coming over Amelia’s face.
"Mother," Amelia said as she stood up. She looked at Leonard who she had sent demons to find. "I have been waiting for you to return."
"I walked your aunt for a bit and then I was lucky to see Leonard. We have been catching up with each other. I am sorry that I worried you," Anne answered. She kept a space between her and Leonard to not worry Amelia, but judging by the way Amelia stared at the two of them, thoughts were already running wild in Amelia’s mind.
"I see. The two of you have a lot to catch up on. Are you two...you know," Amelia said, hoping they would finish it for her.
"Amelia, that is not something you can just ask your mother and I have just met Leonard after two years. We are not running to the temple to get married so you have nothing to fear. I won’t get married again," Anne promised.
