Chapter 186
Unfortunately, Amelia could not spend a lot of time away from the guests and had to go back to greet everyone. She was able to skip her first dance with Killian and many others after she claimed it wasn’t a tradition in the north for couples to dance on their wedding night so they should skip past it.
"You aren’t enjoying your wedding day but don’t ruin it for everyone else," Margaret whispered to Amelia.
The royals all sat at a long table as the food was served.
"Ruin it for who? You can look at their faces and tell none of them want to be here. I am just speeding this up for the sake of all of us. I’ll enjoy my wedding more when Killian and I return home. We can celebrate it our way," Amelia replied, not noticing the smile on the lips of the man beside her.
Margaret stared at her granddaughter, wondering when she should pull Amelia to the side and tell her what was to come soon. If Amelia was being honest she had only slept in bed with Killian then she did not learn more about what the two couples did. She would rather Amelia hear about it from her than from anyone else who would scare her.
She didn’t want Amelia to hear the ridiculous advice to just lie there and let her husband do as he wanted. Amelia deserved a better wedding night than the one Margaret had.
"Why are you smiling so much? Is there something that entertains you? Please tell me it is not me," Amelia said after she finally noticed Killian’s large smile. She preferred when he wasn’t smiling because his smile meant he was up to no good or something she did unintentionally was entertaining him. It wasn’t fair for her to be annoyed while he was having fun.
"Who else would be entertaining me other than my wife?" Killian asked.
Amelia became suspicious because she had done nothing special since they sat down at the table. "What is it?"
